Role: Regional Manager – East Midlands
Salary: £52,766.71 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £2,764. There is the ability to progress to £59,826.70 over the next 3 years.
This is a Regular Driver Role so also attracts a car allowance of £5000 (gross) per annum, subject to internal checks.
Location: East Midlands Regional Office - Derby
Duration: Permanent role (subject to full driving licence and compliant vehicle)
The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Regional Manager. The post-holder will be responsible for the overall people management of the all organisers within the region, building capability to enable them to deliver effective campaigns with the specific aim of winning elections at all levels, alongside working to ensure the effective operation of Labour Party structures within the region.
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge and understanding of the Party organisation at branch, constituency and regional level
- Good knowledge of using digital to campaign - including social media, use of technology and email
- Strong experience of People Management
- Ability to motivate and provide inspiring leadership to volunteers and campaigners

Please note that this is a Regular Driver Role and there is a requirement to be able to drive and own a compliant car in this role. Any successful applicant who does not drive or own a compliant car will receive a conditional job offer on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract which requires the successful applicant to hold a full UK driving licence and compliant car within 12 months of their start date. If at the end of the 12 months the employee does not have both a full UK driving licence and a compliant car then the contract will terminate. A driving licence is required for this role due to operational requirements including travel between multiple locations and transportation of campaign materials.
