Purchasing Manager
Due to continued growth our client is currently looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the supply chain function for the business.

The Role
- Manage the purchasing team ensuring KPI targets are met
- Review procurement processes and implement process improvements
- Oversee the onboarding of new suppliers ensuring
- Identify opportunities to drive costs down within the purchasing department
- Monitor material usage and forecast future requirements
- Ensure all products procured meet the required quality standards
- Liaise with internal departments regarding their purchasing requirements
- Present purchasing reports to senior management
- Other relevant duties
Essential Criteria
- A minimum of 3 (+) years working within purchasing, procurement and supply chain
- Experience in working on ERP and MRP systems
- Confident in working under pressure
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent negotiation skills
- A positive can-do attitude towards work
