Overview
We are wanting to expand our leadership team! We are seeking highly experienced dynamic and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisors working on the floor along side our busy team, training and perfecting their skills in all areas such as customer service, barista, bar and front of house.
This roles offer the opportunity to lead service operations, you will be on the floor working with your team to deliver the best possible experience for our very busy restaurant. skills include crafting exceptional beverages, advising on food intolerances, allergies, accessibility needs and ensure an outstanding customer experience for every customer.
The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent organisational skills, and a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a similar environment is essential, along with a strong commitment to food safety standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service during busy periods
- Successfully leading a service team on busy evenings - coordination a large team of waiters/waitresses over 4 restaurant rooms all served from 1 kitchen - up to 200 covers in one sitting.
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee, tea, cocktails and beverages in accordance with company standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any enquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the barista station and dining area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including cake service
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and manage basic maths calculations for billing purposes
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service delivery during peak hours
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including adherence to food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service where applicable
- Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing support to ensure team cohesion
Experience
- Previous barista experience is highly desired, with a solid understanding of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve direct customer interaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures within a food service environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and cash management confidently
