The Role
We are seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple client sites in the Liverpool area. This is a hands-on supervisory role, ensuring our teams deliver excellent service standards while maintaining compliance with company policies and health & safety requirements. There will be some cover cleaning activities in this role but also some flexibility during school holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, support, and motivate cleaning teams across allocated sites.
- Conduct site audits and quality checks to maintain service standards.
- Maintain strong client relationships through tight operations.
- Oversee rotas, cover arrangements, and some recruitment of cleaning staff where needed.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and company procedures.
- Report operational issues promptly and work with management to resolve them.
- Cover cleaning responsibilities where required.
- Deputise for the Area Contract Manager as required.
What We're Looking For
- Background in the cleaning industry with hands-on cleaning experience (essential).
- Previous supervisory or management experience (advantageous).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff and clients.
- Flexibility to travel across the Liverpool area.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
