We’re CJT Timber Sourcing – a long-established, fourth-generation, family-run timber business – and we’re looking for experienced Production Operatives to join our friendly sawmill team.
What you’ll be doing
No two days are the same here. Depending on your experience, you could be involved in:
- Treatment tanks
- Production line and Yard operations
- Forklift truck driving
Whatever your role, one thing never changes: every product leaves our mill to a high standard of quality. If it’s not right, it doesn’t go out.
Quality & Safety matter here
We take health and safety seriously – because everyone deserves to go home safe at the end of the day. You’ll be expected to:
- Work safely and follow agreed safe systems of work
- Cooperate with colleagues on quality and H&S matters
- Suggest improvements and help keep standards high

Hours & benefits
- 40 hours per week over 4 days
- Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
- Overtime available during busy periods
