Role overview
We are seeking newly qualified and experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineers based in the Northampton / Milton Keynes area to join our expanding Service & Maintenance team.
Salary & Package
- Air Conditioning Service Engineer: £34,000 -55,000 dependent on qualifications and experience
- Annual performance bonus

Key responsibilities
- Planned maintenance of split, Multi Split and VRF Air conditioning systems.
- Efficient diagnosis of faults in response to reactive service calls aiming to provide a first-time fix and so ensure continuity of service for our customers.
- Ability to complete planned system repairs in a timely manner following quoted works
· Maintain accurate site records, timesheets and completion paperwork.
· Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and CDM regulations; use correct PPE and safe working methods.
· Provide professional client contact on-site and support site handovers and demonstrations.
Requirements
- The candidate must be C&G Level 2 FGAS (or Equivalent)
- It is desirable for the candidate to have City and Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration and Air
- Proven experience (ideally 5+ years) installing commercial and or large domestic air conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Good commissioning and fault-finding experience (controls, refrigerant circuits, airflow balancing). (Desirable)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and South East England.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
· Experience with VRF systems, AHUs, extract/ventilation systems for commercial buildings.
· IPAF (powered access) and PASMA or working-at-height training.
· Asbestos awareness and SSSTS/SSSTS or SMSTS training.
· CSCS Card,
· Relevant electrical competency for HVAC work (e.g., 18th/19th edition knowledge or AM2/part-P or equivalent where applicable) (Desirable) or ability to work with our directly employed electricians.
· Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills

Working hours & benefits
- Full-time, permanent role. Typical on site hours Monday–Friday 8am to 5pm, early starts as required.
