Lambeth Care Services is seeking compassionate, reliable and professional Twilight / Night Response Care Workers to join our domiciliary care team.
This is a community-based role supporting individuals in their own homes across London. Unlike a traditional night shift based in one location, you will be part of a dedicated night response team providing scheduled visits, welfare checks and responsive support to service users when required.
For safety and quality of care, staff work in pairs when carrying out visits and responding to client needs during the night.
Main Duties
- Attend scheduled evening and night-time care visits.
- Respond to urgent care requests and welfare concerns.
- Provide personal care and support to service users in their own homes.
- Assist with mobility, transfers and repositioning where required.
- Support with medication administration.
- Conduct welfare and wellbeing checks.
- Complete accurate care records and report concerns promptly.
- Travel between service users' homes across the service area as part of a two-person team.
Essential Requirements
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Access to a reliable vehicle
✔ Willingness to travel across Victoria, Lambeth, Brent, Croydon, Ealing, Westminster, Harrow, Hammersmith, and surrounding areas
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✔ Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
✔ Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, home care or healthcare settings.
- Care Certificate or NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults.

Please note: This is a mobile domiciliary care role. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, as travelling between service users' homes is an essential part of the position.
