Job Summary
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, or other masonry units according to blueprints, plans. Prepare mortar mixes and ensure the proper consistency for bonding bricks or blocks effectively. Measure and cut bricks or blocks as needed to fit into spaces or corners, utilizing various hand and power tools. Safely handle and transport bricks, blocks, and other materials to the construction site. Proven some of experience as a Bricklayer in the construction industry and training will be provided.
Some knowledge in bricklaying techniques, mortar mixing, and masonry work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans. Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Bricklaying) Working with the following major clients HEPS Accrington, Hyndburn Energy Ltd, Corgi Homeplan.
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding, or related construction skills.
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying, masonry techniques, and structural assembly methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Attention to detail coupled with a proactive approach to safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.

Pay: £15.00-£17.50 per hour
