Here at Tay Valley Vets, we are looking for a Senior Receptionist to join our friendly and dedicated team.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic individual with significant experience in delivering excellent customer service. You will have outstanding communication skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to remain calm and compassionate in a busy environment.
As one of the main points of contact for our clients, you’ll share in both the happy and difficult days. This includes supporting pet owners who may be worried, emotional or grieving. We are looking for someone who can provide compassionate and reassuring service while remaining professional and composed under pressure.
Key responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with client queries.
- Regularly monitoring incoming emails, responding promptly or forwarding them to the appropriate team member as required.
- Supporting colleagues and working effectively as part of a busy team.
- Mentoring and supporting less experienced members of the reception team.
- Leading a small team of dedicated receptionists.
Working hours
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, with a 1 in 5 weekend rota.
Weekend hours are:
- Saturday: 8.30am – 12.00pm
- Sunday: 9.00am – 12.30pm
