Responsibilities
- Deliver home care services tailored to each individual's care plans, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily routines
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities and social engagement
- Use your driving skills to safely transport clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems, ensuring compliance with privacy and safety standards
- Assist with light household tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light cleaning to support overall well-being
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for clients and yourself
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record to facilitate client transportation
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English for effective interaction and documentation
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ independence and dignity
- Willingness to undertake training related to care plans, health & safety procedures, and safeguarding policies
