Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and creativity
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Implement individualised care plans for children with disabilities or special educational needs
- Support children with behavioural challenges through positive reinforcement and customised strategies
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Foster a safe environment by monitoring play areas and ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Support toddlers with specialised care routines, including feeding, diapering, and developmental activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan educational activities and behavioural interventions
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incident
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children of all backgrounds and abilities
- Organised approach to managing daily routines and documentation requirements
