Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Timber Workshop Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of woodworking machines, including milling machines, saws, and moulders, to shape and assemble timber products.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage, movement, and handling of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain machinery by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues and conducting basic repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with welding equipment or during fabrication processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or woodworking environments with hands-on knowledge of milling, assembly, and materials handling.
- Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, machine calibration, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently within a warehouse or workshop setting.
- Strong grasp of basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred for understanding inventory management and materials flow.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
