Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter / Painter & Decorator to join our team, specialising in high-quality apartment refurbishments and fit-outs.
This is not a position for someone with only basic trade skills. We are looking for a professional craftsman who takes genuine pride in their work and consistently delivers exceptional finishes. Attention to detail, precision, and workmanship are the most important qualities for this role.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in the industry.
- Own vehicle and full driving licence (essential).
- Ability to provide a portfolio of previous work, including photos or videos demonstrating the quality of your workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing a high-end finish.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all sites.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in the complete refurbishment and setup of residential apartments, including:
- First and second fix carpentry.
- Painting and decorating to a high standard.
- Wallpaper hanging.
- Wall panelling and decorative mouldings.
- Cutting, fitting, and building bespoke carpentry elements.
- Floor and wall tiling.
- General refurbishment work.
- Basic plumbing (advantageous).
- Basic electrical work (advantageous).
The successful applicant will:
- Have exceptional finishing skills and an eye for detail.
- Be capable of completing work with minimal supervision.
- Take ownership of every project and maintain high standards throughout.
- Be versatile across multiple trades while maintaining quality.
- Care about the small details that separate an average job from an outstanding one.
