We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff, Bartenders and Baristas to join our vibrant team and be a part of our city-centre concept - BOTANICO.
Inspired by Botanics, BOTANICO is an all-day eatery brought to you by the team behind Liverpool’s popular Italian quarter. BOTANICO will be open every day from 8am until 11pm serving Italian inspired classic food and drinks in a stunning venue located in the Rope-Walks area of Liverpool City centre.
The ideal candidates will deliver exceptional guest services, ensure smooth restaurant and bar operations, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Our roles offer an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, with responsibilities spanning customer interaction, food and drink service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. All positions are well paid, dependant on experience, and are perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and culinary service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Provide outstanding guest service by addressing questions and special requests with professionalism & personality
- Up-sell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling of food items
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness in all areas
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the till system and perform basic maths calculations for billing
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during busy periods
- Support in setting up both bar & restaurant areas before service and clearing after closing
Experience
- Whilst experience is helpful, we will always hire on potential and personality first and foremost
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food/drink preparation techniques is advantageous
- Experience in serving guests, up-selling menu items, or working in a fast-paced setting is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
