We're currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Kitchen Team Leader to support the running of our busy kitchen.
About the Role
As Kitchen Team Leader, you will support the Kitchen Manager in the day to day running of the kitchen, leading by example on the line and helping the team deliver consistent, high quality food across every service. This is a hands on role with added responsibility, ideal for someone ready to take the next step from a kitchen team position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the kitchen team during service, ensuring food is prepared and presented to recipe and brand standard
- Assist the Kitchen Manager with day to day organisation of the kitchen, including prep planning and workflow
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, allergen compliance, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Support with stock management, including replenishment and flagging shortages
- Help train and guide junior kitchen team members during shifts
- Ensure HACCP records, temperature logs, and kitchen compliance checks are completed correctly
- Step up in the absence of the Kitchen Manager to keep service running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen experience with a desire to take on more responsibility
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and allergen procedures
- Ability to lead by example and keep a team motivated during busy service
- Organised, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, school holidays, and peak periods
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate preferred

Pay: £11.35-£13.21 per hour
