Senior Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Agency Care Home Work – Birmingham
Twenty Four Seven Nursing is looking for experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our agency team and work across care and nursing homes throughout Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

About the Role
You'll be working as part of the care team to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to residents.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities may include:
· Supporting residents with personal care and daily activities
· Maintaining residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing
· Supporting and providing guidance to Healthcare Assistants
· Following individual care plans
· Completing care records accurately
· Supporting with medication where trained and authorised
· Reporting concerns or changes in residents' needs
· Communicating with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals
· Following safeguarding and infection control procedures
What We're Looking For
You must have:
· A minimum of 12 months' UK Senior Healthcare Assistant experience
· Previous experience working within UK care or nursing homes
· A caring and professional approach
· Strong communication skills
· The confidence to support other members of the care team
· A valid DBS or willingness to complete one
An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
