Registered Manager – Supported Living
Hours: Full Time - Permanent
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday | 9am–5pm (with flexibility outside standard hours in line with service needs)
Salary: £44,000 per annum

At Look Ahead, we’re seeking a resilient and motivated Registered Manager to lead three Supported Living services in Newham, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. We co produce support and services with our customers and we are on a Journey to deliver Outstanding support to every single person
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive Person Centered practice, High quality support, and skilled teams that make a real difference.
About the Role
You will oversee a Supported Living patch which currently has three services but with ambitions to grow further.
You will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring services are Person Centered, safe, delivering high-quality support whilst achieving a minimum of Good CQC rating. As CQC Registered Manager, you will hold regulatory accountability and build strong relationships with commissioners, families and professionals.
This is a visible leadership role where you will support teams, coach best practice and drive continuous improvement. You will also have the opportunity to further develop services, strengthen teams and shape culture, supported by an experienced leadership structure while retaining autonomy to lead.
Key responsibilities:
- Achieve and maintain a minimum Good rating with CQC but be motivated to become Outstanding
- Motivate and inspire your staff to be the best team they can be
- Embed Person Centered Active Support, PBS and co-production
- Drive Co Production with customers for a truly Person Centered culture
- Work with customers and staff to ensure all support planning is Person Centered and high quality
- Ensure good support planning results in great, evidenced outcomes for every customer
- Achieve high safeguarding standards
- Lead audits and service improvement activity
- Oversee recruitment, supervision and performance management
- Manage safeguarding concerns and complex decisions
- Work with commissioners and external partners
- Manage budgets, occupancy and income performance
- Manage voids and support new referrals
Who We’re Looking For
An inspiring, creative leader with experience in Supported Living and a strong understanding of CQC standards. Experience of Person Centered Active Support would be ideal but not essential. Someone who really believes in and can deliver co produced support is the person for us.
You will bring:
- Experience of managing Supported Living services and a track record of achieving great outcomes
- Sound knowledge of learning disabilities, autism and complex needs best practice
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding, MCA and DoLS
- Experience of Positive Behaviour Support
- Experience leading service improvement and teams
- Ability to inspire, coach, motivate and manage performance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social care or Equivalent (or willingness to complete within 6 months)
- The successful candidate must achieve Registration with CQC before end of probation
