- Help with household tasks including light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in health or behaviour, in compliance with organisational standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent care delivery.
- Use IT tools or electronic systems to update care records and report any concerns promptly.
- Drive clients safely to appointments or errands as needed, utilizing personal or organisational transportation resources.
Skills
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation for home visits and client outings.
- Experience working within care homes or providing home care services is highly desirable.
- Ability to develop and follow personalised care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with clients, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and patience when supporting vulnerable individuals.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to home care environments.
