Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Cleaner to join our team for 7.5 hours per week, 1.5 hours per day in Harker just outside Carlisle.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across designated premises. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or organisational settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
- Follow health and safety procedures during all cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with good organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
