Experienced Beautician
Beauty Spot Glos is looking for an experienced, confident and professional Beautician to join our busy and growing salon in Gloucester.

This is primarily a Beautician role, not a nail technician position. We are looking for someone who is already trained, competent and confident in carrying out a broad range of beauty treatments independently.
Essential Treatment Skills
Please only apply if you are confident and competent in the majority of the following treatments:
- General body and facial waxing
- Female intimate waxing
- Massage treatments
- Eyebrow shaping and waxing
- Eyebrow and eyelash tinting
- Lash lifts
- General beauty treatments
- Gel manicures
- Gel pedicures
- Facials and skincare treatments
You must be comfortable carrying out treatments professionally from consultation through to completion and providing an excellent standard of customer care.
About the Role
Beauty Spot Glos is a busy, modern and established salon with a loyal client base and a continual flow of new customers.
We are looking for someone who can become an important part of our team and who is capable of working confidently with their own clients from the outset.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out professional beauty treatments to a consistently high standard
- General and female intimate waxing
- Massage treatments
- Lash lifts and tinting
- Brow treatments
- Gel manicures and gel pedicures
- Facials and other general beauty treatments
- Carrying out client consultations
- Recommending appropriate treatments and aftercare
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and salon presentation standards
- Building strong relationships with clients
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
Who We Are Looking For
The successful applicant must:
- Have previous salon or professional beauty therapy experience
- Be confident working independently with clients
- Be trained and experienced in a broad range of beauty treatments
- Be confident carrying out female intimate waxing
- Be confident providing massage treatments
- Be confident carrying out tinting and lash lifts
- Be able to perform gel manicures and gel pedicures
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be reliable, punctual and professional
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards
- Work well as part of a team
- Take pride in providing high-quality treatments
- Have a genuine passion for the beauty industry

We are specifically looking for an experienced Beautician who can already carry out the core treatments listed above confidently and professionally.
Please do not apply if your experience is mainly nails and you are not trained or confident in general beauty therapy, waxing, female intimate waxing, massage, tinting and lash treatments.
Additional training and development opportunities will be available, but applicants must already have a strong foundation in professional beauty therapy.

Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Beauty Therapy, or equivalent
- Accredited waxing qualifications
- Female intimate waxing qualification
- Massage qualification
- Lash lift and tinting qualifications
- Gel manicure and pedicure qualifications
