We’re looking for an experienced and reliable barber to join our busy, friendly barbershop in Edinburgh city centre.
The shop has four barber chairs, with three currently in use by the shop owner and two existing barbers. We’re now looking for the right person to join the team and take the fourth chair.
Being based in the city centre, we benefit from a strong base of regular customers alongside plenty of passing trade, creating a consistently busy working environment and a great opportunity to build a loyal client base.
We’re a relaxed, sociable shop with a good atmosphere and an excellent group of customers. Everyone works slightly different days, so there is plenty of flexibility around working days and hours. We’re happy to agree a working pattern that suits both you and the shop.

What we’re looking for
- Confidence in modern and traditional barbering
- A consistently high standard of cutting and customer service
- Friendly, professional and reliable
- Someone who takes pride in their work and appearance
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
- Able to work confidently in a busy shop
- Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers
Experience is preferred, although ultimately we’re looking for someone with the right ability, attitude and personality to fit into the shop.
