We are now looking for an extremely well organised and driven HR person to support with the workload across the group.
Job Purpose
The HR Administration Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR Managers across the Group. This is a busy, administration-focused role requiring exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritise a varied workload while maintaining confidentiality.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, supporting employee relations activities, maintaining compliance records, and producing accurate HR reports.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Managers across the Group.
· Coordinate sickness absence reporting, ensuring accurate records are maintained and reports are produced for management.
· Monitor employee absence and support the administration of absence management processes.
· Arrange and coordinate HR meetings, including disciplinary, grievance, welfare and absence review meetings.
· Issue meeting invitations and prepare relevant documentation.
· Attend disciplinary and other formal meetings to take accurate, confidential notes.
· Produce outcome letters and other HR correspondence following meetings.
· Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are updated in a timely manner.
· Run regular HR reports to monitor compliance, including:
- Right to Work documentation
- Mandatory training completion
- Probation reviews
- Other compliance requirements as required
· Support managers by highlighting outstanding compliance actions.
· Assist with general HR administration, filing and document management.
· Ensure all HR documentation is handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection requirements.
· Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Person Specification
Essential
· Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an HR environment.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
· Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
· Able to work independently while also supporting a wider HR team.
· Strong planning and coordination skills.
· A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
· Previous experience supporting employee relations processes.
· Experience taking formal meeting notes and producing professional correspondence.
· Knowledge of HR systems.
· Understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.

Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
