4 on 4 off shift pattern

· Key Responsibilities:

· Utilise ERP system to obtain information for jobs and actively be aware of changes to the material allocated to jobs

· Clear understanding of fruit quality and defects

· Ensure grading machines are set up correctly in line with fruit quality identified at point of use

· Operate multiscan and work with colleagues who are manually grading to support the machine operation

· Co-ordinate with QC to determine outcome of product and process

· Work with QC team to effectively select boxes of fruit based on quality requirements at point of use

· Check the fruit prior to adding to the line

· Co-ordinate and support changeovers on the line

· After training to be able to run two multiscans at the same time

· Make decisions regarding product pull-outs and determine whether fruit can be allocated to alternative customers.

· Report Multiscan breakdowns

· Communicate with Line Leaders regarding fruit on the line, including expected quality standards and issues

· Ensure fruit meets customer specifications.

· Ensure instructions and information communicated via email are followed

· Running i5 line

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

· Able to work in fast paced environment

· Must have good attention to detail

· Be able to prioritise in accordance with the company needs

· Must have a good understanding of English language both spoken and written.

· Demonstrate good interpersonal skills
