HR Manager (Part-Time – 24 Hours per Week)
Hours: Permanent, part-time role, 3 days per week (Monday to Friday), 24 hours per week. Salary: £41,600 per annum (full-time equivalent), paid on a pro-rata basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across two of our Liverpool hotel properties, which will be your primary focus. Working closely with hotel management teams, you'll provide expert HR support, champion best practice, and help create a positive culture where our people can thrive. As the business continues to grow, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider Group HR initiatives and projects.

This role involves occasional travel between our Liverpool hotel venues, so a full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, retirement and redundancy.
- Provide practical HR advice to managers, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Build strong relationships with managers, coaching and supporting them on people matters and sharing HR best practice.
- Ensure mandatory and role-specific training is up to date and maintain the company training matrix.
- Provide first-line advice to employees and managers on company benefits and HR policies.
- Administer payroll changes and maintain accurate payroll records, liaising with the accounts team where required.
- Support recruitment and selection, including advertising vacancies, preparing job descriptions, shortlisting, interview preparation, and onboarding.
- Produce contracts of employment, offer letters and all associated employment documentation.
- Deliver engaging new starter inductions to ensure a positive employee experience from day one.
About You
You'll be an experienced HR professional with excellent people skills, a commercial mindset, and the confidence to work independently while building strong relationships across the business.
You'll have:
- Previous HR management experience, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Demonstrable knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and support managers at all levels.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity and discretion.
- A collaborative approach and genuine passion for developing people and creating positive workplace cultures.
- A minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification, a Bachelor's degree in HR Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
