Nexus Recruitment have been exclusively instructed on a position for a Head of Block Management to lead the residential department of a successful real estate firm in London. There is a large team within the company, however with 2 other Team Leaders, your responsibility will be to directly manage 5 PM’s who manage key accounts, with the remainder falling under your management indirectly. Our client has been operating successfully for a number of years and you will be involved in a lot of the future strategy and planning for the business.
Core duties:
- Oversee the company’s flagship development, with full support from your team of PM’s
- Oversee planning and execution of day-to-day operations of the department
- Sign off complex budgets and accounts for your team when necessary
- Recruitment of Property Managers along with inductions and training
- Being a point of escalation for more complex matters
- Set and review KPI’s
- Monthly reporting to the Directors
- Ensuring high levels of customer service for the client base
- Oversee compliance and H&S across your teams portfolio
- Ensure accounts are delivered on time and with accuracy
Whilst this is a leadership role, the role comes with a high amount of flexibility and home working. This position is very much air marked to progress long-term, so someone with a desire to excel in this role is essential.
Required attributes:
- MTPI qualified, essential
- Extensive experience within private leasehold management
- Strong industry networks and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience of line management of Property Managers
- Natural leader
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail
