If you hold a current and valid PCV licence, CPC card and are passionate about investing in people, then join us as a PCV Driving Instructor. Be a key part of a committed team who work tirelessly to provide first class customer service, every time. You will roll out best practice on our driver passenger vehicles across the Scotland west network and will play a pivotal role in advising new recruits to the required DVSA standard, carrying out end to end training including theory and practical driving assessments. Our in-house Academy is located at our Johnstone Depot and our amazing team cover the full west network.
What do our PCV Instructor do?
· Provide the best engaging training and coach new recruits on passenger and vehicle safety
· Provide 5 star training and coach new recruits on Cat D Bus Licence theory and practical assessments
· Ensure the Training Academy and all onboarding paperwork is accurately recorded for processing
· Embrace our company ethos and operational standards, by mentoring and coaching existing PCV drivers when required
· Lead MIX Telematics training, providing coaching on score standards and improvements
· Tackle any challenge with positivity, be a people person and support colleagues at all levels across the business
What you can bring to us:
· Hold a current and valid UK PCV driving licence, with no endorsements or penalty point and a CPC card
· Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team to grow and develop new recruits and existing colleagues
· Excellent communication and engagement skills with a positive can do attitude
· Be flexible and willing to adapt to new challenges with knowledge of using MS Office packages (full training will be given)
