An opportunity for a full time Sous Chef position has opened at Ashling Park Estate. This could be an ideal position for a commis chef looking to progress.
Ashling Park is a 50 acre estate with a multi faceted business comprising of a vineyard, restaurant, tasting rooms, five luxury lodges, shop, experience room, gin school & meeting rooms.
The business runs all year around and open to the public Thursday to Sunday. This year looks busy with many functions and covers already booked well in advance.
The general weekly working hours would be over Wednesday-Sunday. Some events may run outside of these days so we would appreciate some flexibility.
Full time hours
We are looking for a hard working, motivated, organised individuals, with a real love for food and a willingness to learn.
Duties include:
Working alongside the Head Chef
Preparing and creating a variety of dishes using fresh seasonal produce.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner services, functions/events.
Helping with deliveries and stock rotation
Cleaning of Kitchen stations and equipment
Maintaining food safety standards
Starting salary starts from £30,000 a year, with a more competitive package available with candidates with the right experience, skills and suitability for the role. You would also get a healthy share of tips.
