Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bedroom Fitter (also media walls & home offices) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and finishing furniture and fittings, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in various aspects of carpentry, joinery, and general construction work to contribute to high-quality residential projects. The position involves working both independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install bedroom furniture, wardrobes, and fittings according to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out fabrication, joinery, and assembly tasks.
- Perform carpentry duties including fitting media walls, wardrobes & home offices.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when manoeuvring large furniture or building materials into position.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or related construction trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in furniture fitting and general construction.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.
Pay: £250.00 per day
