Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support clients in adhering to their personalized care plans to meet their specific needs
- Help with daily activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Maintain clear communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
- Use IT systems to update client records accurately and efficiently
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when required
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior promptly to the supervising team
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care support is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely are highly desirable for supporting home visits and outings
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for updating records and following digital care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and show empathy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
