Your primary responsibility will be to support communities and households experiencing food insecurity, contributing to the Council's tackling poverty agenda and the ambitions of the Local Food Strategy and Monmouthshire Food Partnership.
This role is about more than food provision; it's about understanding why people struggle to access nutritious food and working collaboratively with communities and partners to address the underlying causes. Working alongside the Sustainable Food Project Manager you'll build relationships, gather evidence, and deliver targeted support that makes a real difference to households across the county.
You will be joining a programme with strong existing foundations and partnerships and will be supported to make an impact from day one.
We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience and from diverse and underrepresented communities.
