Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Tutors to provide specialised support in Maths, English, or Science for students across KS1, KS2, KS3, or GCSE levels. Duties
- Deliver personalised tuition sessions in Maths, English, or Science aligned with curriculum standards for KS1/2/3 or GCSE students
- Assess students’ current levels and develop customised lesson plans to address their specific learning requirements
- Support students in developing effective study techniques and exam preparation strategies
- Monitor and record student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate learners with special educational needs or diverse learning styles
- Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages active participation and confidence building
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and education professionals to ensure consistent support for each student’s academic journey
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children across primary or secondary education levels, particularly KS1/2/3 or GCSE
- Strong understanding of curriculum content in Maths, English, or Science suitable for the relevant age groups
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Organised and patient approach to supporting student learning and development
- Passionate about education and committed to helping students achieve their full potential
Pay: £8.00-£14.00 per hour
