Weekend Housekeeper / Cleaner
Location: Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria
Hours: 5–10 hours per weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Rate of Pay: Starting at £16.00 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team providing housekeeping services to high-quality holiday accommodation in and around Bowness-on-Windermere.
This role is primarily weekend-based and is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation, however other working days will be available.
Shifts are usually 09:45 - 15:00
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing holiday properties to a high standard
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors
- Replenishing guest supplies where required
- Reporting maintenance issues or damage promptly
- Ensuring properties are guest-ready within allocated timescales
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred but not essential
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Own transport is desirable due to property locations
