Are you an experienced centre manager with a strong background in automotive aftersales, workshop operations, or service management? We are looking for a driven and commercially minded centre manager to lead a busy automotive workshop in Copford.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established business where you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the workshop, leading a skilled team, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring operational excellence across the site.
The Role
As centre manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating, and developing the workshop team
- Managing workshop performance to maximise productivity and profitability
- Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the customer journey
- Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing improvements where required
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures and company standards are maintained
- Managing stock, budgets, and daily operational performance
- Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a centre manager, workshop manager, service manager, or similar leadership role within the automotive industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercial awareness with a focus on driving performance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A customer first approach
- Full UK driving licence
