Are you a Band 2 or Band 3 Clinical Support Worker with surgical experience looking for a new challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our teams on Ward J47/J46 Emergency General Surgery or Ward J42 Urology. As a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to develop enhanced clinical skills, broaden your knowledge, and gain valuable experience within a busy and supportive ward environment. Working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, supporting patients throughout their inpatient journey and helping to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
We are looking for motivated, compassionate, and proactive individuals who are keen to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and support the development of junior colleagues. You will assist in coordinating patient care, undertake enhanced clinical skills such as venepuncture and cannulation following training and competency assessment, provide 1:1 enhanced care for patients requiring additional support, and work collaboratively with nurses and the wider healthcare team to deliver safe, timely, and effective care.
