SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to support learning both in the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings. You will play an important role in helping students engage with their learning, build confidence, and help students to make positive progress across the curriculum.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- A caring, patient, and compassionate individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- Experienced or interested in working with pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
- Calm, resilient, and positive, with confident behaviour management skills
- Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Flexible and proactive, with the ability to adapt to individual learning needs
- A committed team player with strong communication skills
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
