Reframe Recycling is looking for a reliable 3.5T Van driver to join our growing team, based in the Poole, Dorset area. The role involves collecting and loading uPVC window and door frames from trade customers and residential properties across Dorset, Somerset and surrounding areas.
This is a physically active role, and applicants must be comfortable lifting and moving window frames throughout the working day.
Customer service is an important part of the position. Our business has grown through reputation, repeat customers and recommendations, so we are looking for someone who is approachable, polite and takes pride in providing a good service.
We believe in turning up when we say we will, greeting customers with a smile and leaving a positive impression at every collection.
This is not a multi-drop courier role. You will typically complete a small number of collections each day, build relationships with regular trade customers and ensure materials are collected safely and professionally. You will have your own company vehicle and
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a long-wheelbase 3.5-tonne van
- Travelling throughout Dorset, Somerset and surrounding areas
- Completing occasional longer-distance collection days
- Collecting uPVC window and door frames from trade and residential customers
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Completing collection paperwork accurately
- Using a smartphone to record collections and take photographs where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Keeping the vehicle clean, secure and well looked after
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
Requirements
- Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
- Full UK driving licence with no major endorsements
- Experience driving long-wheelbase vans
- Comfortable travelling throughout Dorset, Somerset and the wider South West
- Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and manage your day effectively
- Comfortable completing basic paperwork and using mobile apps

Experience in any of the following would be helpful, although it is not essential:
- Waste and recycling
- Removals
- Delivery driving
- Construction
- Window fitting or building trades
- Other physically demanding roles

Training and Support
Full training will be provided.
Successful applicants will spend time working alongside one of our experienced drivers to learn our collection processes, customer service standards, paperwork requirements and safe loading and unloading procedures.
We do not expect new starters to know everything from day one. We will provide the training and support needed to help you become confident in the role and understand how we operate.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, looks after their vehicle, turns up on time and enjoys working independently.
You will need to be flexible about travelling across the South West, including regular routes between the Dorset and Somerset areas, while maintaining the friendly and reliable service our customers expect.

Recruitment Timeline and Selection Process
We expect to be recruiting for this role towards the end of August / beginning of September.
