An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our growing, family-owned private dental practice in Durham City centre.
We are looking to recruit for 2 days (Thursday/Monday and Friday)
Kingsgate Dental is a modern 3 surgery practice. It offers onsite implants, microscope guided endodontics and cosmetic orthodontics including Invisalign. We have undergone a recent refurbishment and surgeries are kitted out to the highest standard with air conditioning. Hygienists have access to both Piezoelectric and Cavitron scalers as well as an airflow system for stain removal and biofilm management. There is an ambidextrous dental chair with electric micromotor. The workflow is fully digitised with digital patient education resources.
We have a strong support team, with a practice manager and patient coordinator, and pride ourselves on being a great place to work. Dedicated nursing support is always provided. We believe our family ethos creates a supportive environment for clinicians to develop their clinical skills.
The successful candidate will be a team player, takes pride in the quality of their work and will be open to continuous improvement of their clinical work and customer service.
This is a self employed role paid on a fee per item basis with an equivalent hourly hygiene rate of around £35 per hour.
