As a Club Car Connectivity and Product Support Technician, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the Club Car products in different environments and under varying conditions. These mechanical and electrical repairs will be conducted on cars that are commercially or privately owned, under service contract and warranty. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities with the local manager.

Work with Team Leader and others as required to schedule and coordinate work activities.

Travel to customer locations in EMEA and AP region. Estimated travel at least 35%

Carry out system installations.
-
Provide technical support to customers and dealers.
-
Handle all paperwork or electronic documents related to the job including but not limited to work orders, parts orders and quotes for repair.

Inspect, test and repair all Club Car Connectivity products according to original manufacturer's instructions.

Maintain Company and personal tools in good operating condition at all times.

Interact directly with customers and effectively communicate service and repair needs.
-
Follows process method sheets to ensure assembly is performed in accordance with specified quality techniques.

Performs various installation or assembly of electrical and general hardware as instructed by lead person and/or designated associate. Conducts a final inspection to ensure proper installation or assembly of parts.

Accompanies territory sales representative when needed to provide technical assistance.

Conducts regional technical training seminars at least once a year.

Education:
-
High School Diploma/Equivalent
Experience:
-
Some mechanical/electrical knowledge and experience repairing electronics is preferred.

Experience keeping accurate inventory of parts and tools.
-
Golf industry knowledge is preferred.
-
Valid driver's license clear of any violations.
-
Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
-
DUI in the previous 5 years
-
Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing throughout day.

Requires occasional lifting of objects less than 25 pounds as well as occasional lifting of objects 25 to 50 pounds.

Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.

Requires use of protective clothing.
