We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our family-run business as a full-time Butchery Picker/Packer & General Assistant.
Based at Draycott Business Park in Cam, Cam Catering Butchers has over 35 years’ experience supplying quality meat to pubs, restaurants, schools, nurseries, care homes, event venues, retail customers and members of the public.
The Role
Working as part of our busy cutting room and warehouse team, you’ll help ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packed and ready for delivery.
Your duties will include:
* Picking items from customer orders using computer screens
* Packing and preparing customer orders
* Moving and rotating stock
* Checking orders and invoices
* Helping to load delivery vehicles
* General warehouse and cutting room duties
* Keeping work areas clean and tidy
* Supporting the wider team wherever required
This is a busy, physical role which involves being on your feet and some heavy lifting. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a refrigerated environment.
About You
Previous experience in a butchery, warehouse or food environment would be useful, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Working Hours
Tuesday–Friday: 5:00am–1:00pm
Saturday: 5:00am–10:00am
37 hours per week
This is a full-time, permanent position within our established family business.
