We're looking for a reliable, organised, and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing consistently great food, and understands the importance of teamwork, organisation, and high standards.
The Role
As a Chef at Ballerz, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving food to company standards while maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen.
You'll work alongside the wider kitchen and management team to ensure food is delivered efficiently, safely, and consistently, even during busy service periods.
We're looking for someone who can work confidently under pressure, communicate well with colleagues, and take ownership of their section during service.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Preparing and cooking menu items to company specification
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Ensuring food is prepared safely and in line with food hygiene regulations
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented kitchen
- Supporting stock rotation, storage, and waste reduction
- Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
- Reporting equipment faults, maintenance issues, and stock shortages promptly
- Working collaboratively with the front-of-house and management teams to deliver an excellent guest experience
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service
