Job Overview
The main role of this job is in our reception, doing emails, answering the phone, dealing with customers. The role will also including helping to care for our cats and dogs . Will need to work well within our friendly team as well as independently. We are looking for someone to be able to work weekends and weekdays by rota and to be flexible.
Duties
- feeding cats and cleaning cattery
- assisting in boarding kennels/ day-care
- walking dogs
- customer service/ answering phone calls and emails
- making bookings and rotas
- booking grooming appointments
- computer skills, using Microsoft word, emails, printing, etc
- filing
- taking photos and videos to post on social media
- keeping reception and shop clean and presentable
- using card machine and dealing with cash payments
Qualifications
- experience working with canines and felines
- must have experience in reception work, answering telephone and emails, taking payments via card machine, booking appointments (ie boarding & grooming)
- must be able to drive (in remote location with limited public transport)
- animal-care qualifications preferred
- must have experience working in a busy environment, dealing with customer care
