Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our lovely little nursery in West Derby Liverpool. In this dynamic role, you will support the Owner/Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Your leadership will inspire staff, foster excellent communication with families, and uphold high standards of childcare. Responsibilities
- Assist the Owner/Director in managing daily nursery operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Support and monitor team in delivering high-quality childcare and education aligned with best practices and regulatory standards
- Lead by example to promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for children and team members
- Supervise and motivate nursery staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and wellbeing
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene protocols are rigorously followed at all times
- Contribute to staff training initiatives, fostering continuous professional development in childcare practices
Requirements
- Proven management and leadership experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Extensive experience working directly with children in childcare or nursery environments
- Strong understanding of childcare regulations, safeguarding policies, and early childhood development principles
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
- Passionate and ambitious about early childhood education with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team support

Pay: £31,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
