The Bristol Loaf is an award-winning, Soil Association certified, artisan bakery and wholesale supplier, with four sites, located in Redfield, Bedminster, Redland and at the Bristol Beacon. Seven days a week we provide some of Bristol’s best restaurants and cafes with daily fresh pastries, breads and cakes.
We are looking for a punctual and organised driver to take over the title as our bread chauffeur!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Methodically packing our products with care and attention.
- Counting and re-counting to make sure you got it right.
- Loading the van and making timely deliveries with a lot of focus on providing excellent customer service.
- The wholesale drops are mostly within Bristol city centre.
- If on home deliveries, you will be delivering across Bristol Monday - Saturday
WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING:
- You will be working 2-3 days a week, starting punctually at 5:30am until the early afternoon, so it’s perfect for anyone looking for a social, fast-paced job on the side of studies, a hobby or another job (there is always room to pick up extra shifts when available).
- This is a perfect role if you want the social interaction you get in a customer facing job, and yet the independence of a driving job.
- A bunch of friendly, ambitious colleagues who put their heart into doing their best work. The whole team is really helpful, kind and fun.
- As much tea & coffee as a you can possibly handle!
WHAT YOU WILL BE NEEDING, THE MUST HAVES:
- You must have a full clean driving license.
- You must be available to work weekends.
- Great communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude. You will be the face of our wholesale and home delivery business, but you also need to be able to work efficiently with both front and back of house in a limited amount of available space.
- A good fitness level as packing the van is physically demanding.
- A methodical, level headed nature and a star at organising efficiently.

- A love for food is a bonus as we are all a food loving bunch.
