Job Overview
We are looking for a part time housekeeper and kitchen facilities manager to manage the operation of our workspace kitchens, to be responsible for a premium customer experience, to managing stocks and cleanliness, organising purchasing and inventory, and making any necessary improvements to ensure the smooth operation of our 15 busy workplace kitchens across several locations.
Our kitchens operate on a self-serve basis; we provide ready-to-use facilities including a wide range of tea and coffee making facilities, with fruit and snacks provided. Each kitchen has several appliances, with dishwashers, fridges, microwaves, kettles, coffee machines and water stations to manage.
This is a part-time role during the middle of each weekday, between 11.30am and 2.30pm, four days per week, Monday - Thursday. However, additional hours may be required to manage one-off projects or unexpected events.
Key Responsibilities:
To manage the successful performance of our workplace kitchen operations.
- To manage stocks and distribution of our kitchen consumable supplies - teas, coffee, snacks, milk, fruit, etc.
- To manage our kitchen cleaning products - cloths, tea towels, sponges, dishwasher products, etc
- To manage our kitchen crockery and cutlery - all plates, bowls, cups, glasses - replacing old with new where needed.
- To manage our appliances - to keep clean and working, organising repairs and replacement where needed.
- Work with our existing suppliers and source new suppliers for the purchasing needs for consumables, sundries and supplies.
- Distribution of supplies around our kitchen locations, ensure levels and quantities are always full.
About you
You will be experienced and qualified, likely to have been working in catering or the service industry.
You will be organised and professional, taking pride in your work and keen to support the overall business by successfully managing this important part of our operation.
You will enjoy working in a small, friendly and supportive team, where proactiveness, responsibility and independent working is essential.
You will live within an easy commute to Woking and Guildford, with a full driving licence and use of a car.
What We Offer:
