Hot Tub Maintenance & Grounds person

About the role
Highland Heights Luxury Glamping is looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical individual to join our team as a Hot Tub Maintenance & Groundskeeper.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping a beautiful property clean, well-maintained and looking its best for our guests.
You’ll play an important part in ensuring our accommodation and grounds are maintained to the high standards expected of a luxury glamping site.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing hot tubs between guest stays
- Checking hot tub water quality and maintaining appropriate chemical levels
- General hot tub maintenance and reporting any issues
- Grass cutting, strimming and general grounds maintenance
- Keeping paths, outdoor areas and communal spaces clean and tidy
- General gardening, planting and maintenance of flower beds
- Carrying out basic repairs and property maintenance
- Checking accommodation and outdoor areas for maintenance issues
- Emptying bins and carrying out general site duties
- Preparing the site for guest arrivals
- Working alongside the wider team to maintain our high standards
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Hardworking with a good attention to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Practical and confident using basic tools and equipment
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative
- Physically fit and happy with a hands-on role
- Friendly and professional
- Proud of the standard of their work
Previous experience in hot tub maintenance, groundskeeping, gardening, property maintenance, hospitality or a similar role would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right person.
A full UK driving licence would be desirable.
