Youll play a vital role in recovering income that helps fund essential local services for residents across Stockton-on-Tees, while working with customers to find realistic solutions and provide support where needed.
What youll be doing:
- Visiting residents and businesses to recover Council Tax, Business Rates, Parking and other outstanding debts.
- Negotiating payment arrangements and helping customers understand their options.
- Assessing financial circumstances and completing Controlled Goods Agreements where appropriate.
- Managing challenging situations professionally and achieving positive outcomes through effective communication and negotiation.
- Identifying vulnerable customers and signposting them to support services.
- Working closely with colleagues and partner organisations to deliver an effective and customer-focused enforcement service.
Who were looking for
You may already have enforcement experience, or you could be looking to bring transferable skills from customer service, housing, policing, security, the armed forces, investigations or a similar role.
