If so, Perth & Kinross Council is looking for an ambitious and collaborative Local Employability Partnership (LEP) Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of our employability partnership approach across Perth and Kinross.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how employability services are designed, coordinated and delivered locally.
Working with a wide range of partners, employers and stakeholders, you will help ensure that individuals and communities can access the support, skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
As LEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the Perth & Kinross Local Employability Partnership, driving collaboration across the employability system and supporting delivery of strategic priorities linked to No One Left Behind, national employability ambitions and local economic development objectives.
About the Role
This is a diverse and rewarding role combining partnership leadership, strategic planning, performance management and stakeholder engagement.
You will:
- Coordinate the delivery of the Perth & Kinross Employability Strategy and Action Plan.
- Build strong relationships with employers, training providers, community organisations and partner agencies.
- Facilitate partnership meetings, networks and working groups, helping partners work towards shared goals.
- Analyse labour market intelligence, performance data and emerging policy developments to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead monitoring, evaluation and reporting activity, ensuring employability investment delivers measurable impact.
- Represent Perth & Kinross within local, regional and national employability networks.
- Support the development of innovative approaches that improve outcomes for residents, employers and communities.
- Promote employability opportunities and services across Perth and Kinross through effective communication and engagement.

We are looking for someone who is a natural relationship builder with strong strategic thinking and organisational skills.
You will have:
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships across multiple organisations and sectors.
- Knowledge of employability, skills, economic development or related policy areas.
- Experience of project coordination, strategic planning or programme delivery.
- Strong analytical skills with experience of interpreting data and producing reports to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience of working collaboratively to drive improvement and achieve shared outcomes.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and impact.
