About the role
This is a casual, as-and-when required position working at our Silverlake site.

What you’ll be doing:
· Promote strong team cohesion and a collaborative working environment
· Assist in managing preparation levels, stock control, and ordering
· Maintain efficient kitchen operations within a high-volume service environment
· Support delivery of a cohesive guest experience across restaurant, spa, hotel, and corporate guests
· Assist in minimising waste and managing kitchen resources efficiently
· Wash, clean, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
· Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
· Assist with basic food preparation (peeling, chopping, portioning).
· Support chefs during busy service periods as required.
· Ensure all cleaning tasks follow food safety and hygiene standards.
· Empty bins, manage waste, and follow recycling procedures.
· Receive and store deliveries safely, following stock rotation (FIFO).
· Keep fridges, freezers, and dry stores clean and organised.
· Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to senior staff.
· Follow allergen, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
We’d love you to have:
· Previous experience in a similar role
· NVQ Level2/3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent) (Desirable)
· Food Safety Level 2 Minimum (Desirable)
· Able to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional standards
· Dependability and Initiative
