Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Electrician to join our team to carry out work on rewires, EICR's and other general electrical work in a domestic setting . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in domestic electrical installations. Demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that work carried out is to a high standard and in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance to BS 7671 .
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Carry out regular EICR's.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
