Exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This newly created role, introduced as part of our strategic expansion to help drive our ambitious growth targets.
The sales team is expanding to manage new and existing partners seperately and collaboratively.

The Sales Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving account growth and managing substantial accounts. The role will be primarily focussed on following up enquiries and leads to generate new business with existing accounts from a proactive and commercially driven individual.
The successful candidate will be expected to run and grow accounts with values from £250k to support long-term growth, with the expectation that you may need to travel overseas and to nationwide to support customer and business requirements.
This position reports directly to the Business Development Manager, and works closely with the marketing, commercial, production, quality and engineering teams.

Hours of Work
35 hours a week.
8.30am – 4.30pm Monday-Thursday, 8.30am – 1.30pm on a Friday. (Lunch break 12.30-1pm Mon-Thu)

Experience & Skills
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in B2B manufacturing service sales is required. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and engineering processes is highly advantageous.
- Technical Aptitude: The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings is advantageous.
- Communication: High levels of confidence and communication skills to conduct formal corporate presentations on and off-site to a professional level.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and contract documentation skills with a sharp focus on commercial profitability.
- Project Management: Solid organisational skills to oversee customer accounts from quotation stage through to production delivery.
- IT Literacy: Competency with Microsoft Office software and experience working with CRM systems.
- Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential due to travel expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Cultivate, run, and grow established customer accounts with values typically ranging from £250k+ to support long-term business growth.
- Expand the network of professional contacts within key accounts, establishing strong links with departments outside of purchasing, such as marketing, New Product Development (NPD), and production.
- Look after assigned customers from start to finish—managing the entire lifecycle from initial quotation and negotiation to handing over projects seamlessly to engineering and production.
- Encourage customers to visit our Wolverhampton facility to view our manufacturing processes firsthand, whilst maintaining monthly visibility on our own factory floor.
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
